Scope of the Journal 

The Journal of Zankoy Sulaimani has a broad scope of publication, encompassing both theoretical and applied science across various disciplines. It primarily focuses on publishing articles in the English language. The journal welcomes a range of publication types, including original research papers that present new findings and insights, important innovations in the field, and advancements building upon previous works. Additionally, the journal accepts reviews that offer critical analysis of existing literature, technical notes providing valuable insights or methodologies, as well as case reports highlighting specific instances or applications. Peer Review Process

Peer review process is a critical evaluation and validation process for Journal of Zankoy Sulaimani that scholarly articles undergo before they are published. The process typically involves the following steps:

  6. Revision and Resubmission: If revisions are requested, the authors make the necessary changes to address the reviewers' comments and concerns. The revised article is then resubmitted to the journal for re-evaluation.
  7. Final Decision and Publication: The revised article undergoes a final review by the editor to ensure that the authors have adequately addressed the reviewers' comments. Upon acceptance, the article goes through the production process, including copyediting, typesetting, and formatting, before being published in the journal.

Open Access Policy

The open access policy of the Journal of Zankoy Sulaimani ensures that all published articles are easily accessible to the public without any barriers or restrictions. In line with this policy, all articles in the journal will be immediately and permanently available for free, enabling everyone to freely read, download, copy, and distribute the content.

Reader rights: The Journal of Zankoy Sulaimani operates as an open-access platform, following the guidelines outlined by the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license. This license permits non-commercial activities such as remixing, modifying, and expanding upon the published work, provided appropriate acknowledgement is given through the designated DOI or hyperlink of the publication. Any derivative creations must adhere to identical licensing terms. It is important to note that commercial use of the article is strictly prohibited, and any alterations or amendments made to the article render it ineligible for distribution.

Author rights: As the author, you retain ownership of the copyright while granting others the ability to engage in non-commercial activities such as remixing, modifying, and expanding upon your work. Publication Frequency  

The College of Science at the University of Sulaimani publishes the Journal of Zankoy Sulaimani, which is released twice a year in June and December. The journal is accessible in both print and online formats, with the online version being made available before the print edition.

Publication Charge

The Journal of Zankoy Sulaimani imposes a publication fee of 150,000 IQD for manuscripts that have successfully undergone the acceptance process. Authors are responsible for paying the Article Publication fee, which covers the costs associated with the publication process.
